This new entry will not be a reboot or reimagining–Indy 5 will function as a direct sequel to 2008’s polarizing Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

Steven Spielberg, Kathleen Kennedy, Frank Marshall, and Simon Emanuel will serve as producers on the film.
